Summer laid her simple Hat

Summer laid her simple Hat

Summer laid her simple Hat
On its boundless Shelf
Unobserved a Ribbon slipt,
Snatch it for yourself.

Summer laid her supple Glove
In its sylvan Drawer
Wheresoe’er, or was she
The demand of Awe?
